Uses Of Boilers In Agriculture And Other Industries

Steam boiler or steam generator is a machine used to yield steam through the process of heating water using heat energy produced by combustion of coal, wood , etc. It is used wherever a supply of steam is required. Initially steam boilers were used to power steam locomotives, cars, etc. Nowadays, such usage of boilers have been decreasing with the advent of modern technologies.

However, steam boilers are now used in various industries. Its applications can be seen in factories that need steam boilers for the purpose of heating i.e. as heating systems and also in cement industry. There are also machines that use steam produces by steam boilers as a source of power. Industrial boiler manufacturers in India manufactures a variety of boilers in different forms and sizes as per usage required.

Apart from above uses, steam boilers have a variety of applications in the agriculture sector as well. It is used for “soil steam sterilization” which is a method used to sterilize soil and eliminate pests, bacteria, etc. this process of soil sterilization has been proved to be the best method of all. Sterilization of soil with the use of steam has been applied in india since ancient times. India being an agricultural economy demand for boilers are always on a rise and industrial boiler manufacturers have a constant need to cope up with such demands.

Some other uses of industrial boilers are in wineries, processing of food waste, heating of molasses, etc.
